I love the autolinking feature for words in global glossaries. What I love most about it is the neat popup box that appears on the page in the course instead of you being taken to the course where the glossary is. We use this a lot to provide explanations and links to other websites.
If <span class="nolink"> WORD </span> is used to remove a word from the autolinking in the glossary then I guess <span class="link"> ADD WORD </span> can be used to autolink the word.
What I really want to do for my school students moodle is to autolink images so that when you click on the image it gives you the glossary entry. This is particularly true when we want to do work on key revision terms which we illustrate via images (see attached).
Is it possible with some clever html to link the image via the alt tag eg if the alt tag has a word in this become the link to the glossary.
Maybe I am overcomplicating things and there is a simple way to do it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it possible And if it is not pleae put me out of my misery!
Thanks for listening..
