Image on URL Resource page is broken on Resources meta page

Does this bug sound familiar to anyone? I've tried a number of searches in the Tracker without success. We're running Moodle v2.2.6.

Here's the scenario: Teacher creates a Resource > URL page and in the Description field adds an image. "Save and Display" button generates a page that displays the image just fine.

Image link looks like this:

Now the teacher goes back to the course homepage and via the Activities block, chooses Resources. The text content for the new URL resource is displayed, but the image is broken.

Image link looks like this:

New thought: Is this a bug or a feature? The image displays as broken in IE and Chrome, but in Firefox displays the image description text instead. Which is, I admit leaner, cleaner, and faster to load than an image.

But still. I'd've expected the image to display.

Update: I've found that not all the images on URL resource pages are broken this way. There are just a few, and even replacing the image with something entirely different (including file name) doesn't help.
