Further to this discussion, I am summing up the features offered by the various Matching question types offered in Moodle Quiz questions (core and 3rd party).

"Anything" means you have access to the HTML editor so you can insert text, formatted text, images, audio, video... Note that Media items such as audio or video may be displayed either as a player or as a simple link which will open an external player.
"Minimal formatting" means italics, bold, etc.
* Drag-and-drop matching works until Moodle 2.3; does not work in 2.4 yet. See this discussion.
