Hi Paul,

You should be able to do so the same as changing the wording elsewhere in Moodle - in Settings > Site Administration > Language > Language customization. Please see the documentation Language customization for further details.

Hi Paul,

You can set the welcome message when you add/edit a BigBlueButtonBN activity link to a course.  See this video

   

around the 1:10 mark.
