Problem: A file that I uploaded to my "Private files" and then made a shortcut/alias to it in my course. Then I made some changes to that same file, reuploaded it to my "Private files", choosing to "overwrite" the existing copy. Then when I try to view that shortcut/alias file in my course it is still showing the "old" version.
However, if I make another shortcut/alias to the same file I see the update version. Also, if I click "Update" and then make no changes, but hit "Save", I now see the updated version.
So, is there some kind of delay or cache that is happening? Is there a way to lower to eliminate this cache or delay? Or mention the delay length or something in the Moodle doc for this feature?
