Hi, I've been searching the forums for hours and can't seem to find an answer to this so maybe someone can help. I am using Moodle 2.3 and I need an automatic email to be sent when a student is assigned to a course, preferably with the name of the course and a link to access it directly (after logging in).
I am still setting everything up so I don't have the terminology down exactly but all assignments will be made by "administrators" in the system, there won't be any self-registering or anything, at least not now.
Is this possible and if so is it a feature supported by Moodle by default or do I need to install an additional plugin?
