We've successfully used Moodle for several months on a Win 2003 server and now we're ready to expand its use through more instances. I have copied all the files into another subdirectory to make a new instance and connected it to a new database. Everything works well but I've still got the old data files that were part of the copy and paste I did from the original instance.
May I delete all the files out of the new data folder or do I need to keep the various subdirectories in place (i.e., 1>backupdata, 1>misc, 3>backupdata, 3>misc) and just delete the files that are in them?
Also, are there other files that I should delete for the new instance?
