Gloss4SM is a Windows application that reformats 3 column term/definition/category Excel spreadsheets into:
  • XML files that can be imported into Moodle to create Glossaries
  • MS Word documents that can be imported into StudyMate to create Scorm 1.2 compliant term/definition learning activities (FlashCard, Matching, Crosswords, Fill in the Blank, Pick a Letter).

Technical requirements
Gloss4SM is a Windows application that requires the free Microsoft .NET Framework version 4 installed on your PC. If your PC does not have this installed it will be downloaded automatically on the installation of Gloss4SM. It is also available for download here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=17851

Gloss4SM was developed by Geoff Hooke and Sal Bordonaro at Monash University. It is provided for free distribution on a Creative Commons licence. Testing and feedback via this forum is welcomed.
