I had the same issue with only some of the student's screens freezing when they hit the next button.

I hit the F5 button to refresh the page so when the next button was clicked again it worked perfectly.

This issues only seemed to appear once for a student and maybe twice in a class of 30 students taking the test at once.  Over the day had to refresh the page for 7 different students.
