Installing a module

Installing a module

2.3

This problem arose installing the Games module, but I doubt that it is peculiar to it.

In the Plugins Check page, it says that games is to be installed.

As the picture from the Plugins Overview page shows, I have installed it and into the right place (at last) but now what? It does not show up in the list of activities

This is not the first module or filter or block that I have installed, although it has been some time.

Any advice welcome

James

Doesn't look properly installed to me (no version number). Have you been to Site administration > Notifications (as admin)?

Thanks Howard - quickest answer ever.smile

The situation has changed, as the pic shows. But "to be installed" - it is, I thought.

Yes, I've been to Notifications as admin (tho I did have to check that).

BTW Game is only one of several things I'm adding and updating at the moment.

Thanks again

James

I'm confused. If something 'is to be installed' then going to the Notifications page should start the process. Unless it doesn't meet some dependencies, but even then it would tell you.
