Questions for non authenticated users

Our problem is that we wish to allow guests to complete a quiz but not to add then to the site users. It is to be used for potential students who wish to be considered for Recognition of Prior Learning before they decide to apply for a programme at the University.

Is there a way round this?

Guests can't take quizzes but you could make a new user "visitor" password "moodle" (or anything really) and display this on your site so the guests can do the quiz then. Not ideal but one way round. You would have to have a question where they wrote their name as each new user would just be called "visitor" and you couldn't differentiate between them

Bill, are you wanting to tie the grades they get in the (practice) quiz to specific people?  Or are the results just for them alone?

Why are you not wanting them to create the account and do the quiz?  (Even if they never use the account again)?
