I would like to add an icon on a page that when clicked on will play audio for that page. Any ideas how to do that? I am sure someone has done this before.
You would need to create a label and place an image inside it. Once this is done, create a link to whatever sound file you want to play. You might want to take a look at http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_sounds.asp to get you started.
Alternatively, Moodle has a filter to automatically recognise MP3 files and embed a music player - that's the easiest way to add a sound to a Moodle page.
