Configurable reports block (plugin)

I'm using Moodle for internal certification and training within my company. So far it's been great for developing the course materials, but now I need to implement the certification program. Ideally, I need to be able to do the following: - Define a set of criteria, like passing two specific quizzes or something, that assigns a given user a related "certification". - An easy way to see which certifications a given student has (and/or which student have a given certification), and when each certification was awarded. In both cases, I suspect that Moodle can do this, but while I have some ideas I'm going to be investigating (one of which is using Configurable Reports for the reporting, hence why I'm posting this here), I'm not sure which features are best for each task. As I start researching this on my own, I want to see if anyone else has done something like this, and what suggestions they may have. Thanks in advance for any help folks can offer!
