I have had a look at Moodle on a smartphone (Android, newly updated) and found that I only seem to be able to act as a guest though I am teacher in the course. Eg. there is no 'Add a new discussion topic' button. Is that normal, do you have to access Moodle from an app to use the interactive features?
Try using the Chrome browser on Android instead of an app. It works very well. TinyMCE works in Chrome too.
