Well, this isn't working at all. What is wrong with moodle that it won't allow you to edit files? Yes, we could work-around with something like google docs (which wouldn't support some of the files we use, and besides some of the files have data we can't post online for data-protection reasons). With moodle 1 at least we could use it like a simple shared folder for files, which many staff were comfortable with. With moodle 2 there's now a gap between the clever-clever techie stuff it's been designed for, and the basic functionality that many of my colleagues need.
