Hello,


I am not sure I am posting in the right category. I've just started using Moodle (Version 2.3.2) and changed the Course format to Topics Format. However, when I click on the "Edit Summary" icon below a topic, it does not display the "Allow Access from and until" options block to me, which is visible in my colleague's version (Moodle 2.3.1). I have attached a screenshot of what I want.

I want to enable date and time options for each topic. I can't find any such options on my Edit Summary page. Please help.

Please could you post a screen shot of the problem you are experiencing so I can see what might be the issue.

Well,

I want to see the screen that I have attached above i.e. with "Allow access from" option. But my screen looks like this:

Dear Anubha,

I see!  You are running your own Moodle on a localhost which is why I could not initially understand why as an editing teacher you could not do so as you were using a different Moodle installation.  Which was not completely clear to me until I re-read your initial question.

You need to enable 'Conditional Activities' as an administrator, please see: 

http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/Assignment_settings#Restrict_access_settings

and

http://docs.moodle.org/23/en/Conditional_activities_settings
