Just tested the "email notification of feedback submissions" feature on my Moodle 2.3 test site.
When this feature is enabled, the email notifications go to the course teachers (which is of course the expected behaviour). But the online help mentions"administrators" instead of "teachers", which is illogical.

Yes - doubly confusing because adminstrators don't actually get emails unless they are enrolled as teachers https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=200435

Should these email notifications also go to the student?
It seems that if the teacher is ticking the 'send email notifications' box they are not wanting to be notified themselves but are wanting to notify the student to whom they are giving feedback.
I've trawled for days and there seem to be so many issues on ll versions of Moodle with this and yet there is not yet an answer. -How can we get it to work that ticking the 'send email notifications' box when giving feedback on a student's submission actually sends an email to the student to inform they have had their submission checked over and have feedback awaiting?
