When you set up the 'state selector' field (Report Configuration) you have to put 'not achieved' in the 'fail' box, 'achieved' in the 'pass' box and 'in progress' in the 'not counted' box. Then it works (assuming you are using those three states)
I've tried that but I'm still not getting anything passed over to the overview. I fanyone else has any suggestions that would be great. I've stuck a screen shot in here just to show what I've added to each field. Strange...
Have you solved the issue? If not can you tell when you added the options to the fail, achieved, in progress boxes (This is important as an options value can not be changed.)
No, we've still not managed to fix this...
I created the options (in progress, achieved and not achieved) when I first created the form. I then simply copied them down into the Fail, Pass and Not Counted boxes. However, I might have done this after returning to the saved form; I cannot be sure.
Can we not hack the database?
Thanks for your concern. I really need to get this fixed...
Can you try creating a new report (form) and then see if the same issue occurs?
I have just taken over from Neil Prior as the Moodle Coord with 6000 users. Your suggestion worked in that I created a new instance of the SMART Targets Report and the overview was recognising the state achieved. The problem we have is that I then created a new select state field for the original instance hoping this would fix it. However the problem still exists and all the user states reverted to unallocated. Have you any ideas on how we can fix the problem with the original data. Also do the "date tense" options make any difference. Thanks
have you managed to fix this ?
please change the items in the table ilp_plu_ste_items
field values should be set as below.
Correct Values below
In progress =0
Thanks for this Parthiban. We tested this on our Back Up (no users) and the original SMART Target Report is now updating the overview E.g "1/2 achieved" appears under the title instead of 0/2 before. My worry is that if we make these changes to the live moodle it will reset the users SMART Target Statuses that already exist in the actual report (rather than the overview). And we have thousands of users. Our plan is to back up the system next week and try this whilst the students are on holiday. If you have any further advice on this it would be very much appreciated. Thanks again. Kev.
Success! The solution you gave us in your last post worked. Many thanks for your efforts which are much appreciated by our team.
