Hi
I have new system Moodle 2.3 and noted PDF's added as file resources using the display option 'Automatic' don't work in Ie8 - displays a blank embedded screen with the small broken link icon (sometime it does display a link to the file - seems arbitrary) .
It also doesn't work in the moodle demo site (see attached screen shot)
I have currently left 'Automatic' as the default as other file types seem to wok fine with this setting and i will advise educators to use 'open' for PDF's for the short term.
Any suggestions?
