Moodle for Windows

Moodle for Windows

Currently, i am trying to install Moodle for Windows on a PC at College.  I have already installed it at home with no problem.  In college, however, i have received a partition of the disk, an F:\ drive.  Moodle for Windows is set up for default C:\ drive.  The error i receive is about the database settings, saying that there is a problem yet i have done nothing different than at home except change the drive.

Any ideas?  All help will be gratefully accepted.

Hi niall,

You should change the paths in the file config.php if you move installed Moodle from home (drive C) to  college (drive F). (Change C: to F: in the paths , perhaps).

Good luck!

Yes thank you, i tried this but still errors.  Within the starte in Moodle for Windows Apache starts but Mysql won't even after restarting it.  Database connection failed.  Some people said the error was with the server but how do you need the server if you are making your computer be the server.

If any one else is getting the same error please post a solution.

thank you
