Groups

Groups

I have set up a course that I want to share across several companies.  I want to allocate to each company a supervisor.  I need the supervisor to be able to look at the student grades ONLY for their employees.

I thought I may be able to do this using groups, but the supervisor roles I have set up can view all the groups.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Thanks.

Hi.  I had looked at this before.  In the contents page the description is exactly what I want to do, but when I go to the link it talks about a feature to access all groups.  So I still don't know how to restrict a teacher to view only one group.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Sally,

Refering to ben's post..try to disable the permission  "access all group" in defining superviser role.

That should work well!!

cheers,

Don't forget to turn on 'separate groups' in course settings. That way the groups will be separated in the gradebook.
