Large course, 700+ students, multiple sections across the week writing "quizzes" for coursemarks.
We provide practice materials run in adaptive mode with feedback programmed to help them towards the answer as part of learning process. Students have been using them to search for answers to the "quizzes" that we run despite the fact that they have been told that it is not an allowed resource. This is because the questions are similar (drawn from pools with variants). Since the practice materials are within the Moodle they are difficult to block (we could turn them off but then some students are still preparing for their quiz). We run the coursemark quizzes in a controlled environment computer lab (where access to web is blocked), and coursemark quiz access blocked by IP.
