Drag&Share 2.0 is the first release of Drag&Share prototype fully compatible with Moodle. All the features are integrated (users, files, resources ...).

Available at:

http://prototypes.felixam.net/

Just install the module in your Moodle installation, and you will be able to insert the activity in your courses. Therefore, students will have the shared workspace available as activity to share and edit all kind of resources.

There is also integrated a rich text editor within the shared workspace, as well as the chat and other features.

This sounds great! I went to the site, and the screenshots seems to say it all (that you can drag files from your desktop in to Moodle). However, I was hoping for a simple written explanation of the benefits/features.

For a photography course, can a student drag their file right into a gallery or other plugin? Or do they first drag their file into a Drag&Share page, and THEN access their file from the gallery?

Thanks for sharing this.

Students share a workspace area where they can drag&drop resources and view other students' telepointers.

Hi Félix,

It looks great, thanks for all your hard work and contributing to Moodle!

Is this only for Moodle 2.x or is there a version for 1.9? There's still a lot of people using 1.9.

All the best,

Matt
