Hi,

my moodle files upload location is /var/www/html/moodledata.

I deleted the folder moodledata and again i created the empty folder moodledata\sessions

and moodledata\sessions.Now i have got the below error,

Warning: open(/var/www/html/moodledata/sessions/sess_0cfdec27beae756fb4f08560985f6f51, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/www/html/moodledata/sessions) in Unknown on line 0

Can anyone suggest how to solve and what the problem is?

Not sure if you solved this, but I got round the problem by changing the permission on the session directory in the data folder to 777.
