Moodle 2.3 where's the web (URL) icon???

I started noticing the familiar world (web.gif) was missing in our 2.3 installation (build 20120706). That's the one used to designate a URL resource.

We had previously used 1.9.

The only theme where I found the "old" URL icon was in Afterburner.

Can someone please explain why this is no longer available in Standard theme?

P.S. I have tested the statements made by some that if .html or .htm or index.cfm, etc. (those specific web page definitions) are omitted in a URL, the the icon displays as a Page. I added URL resources (BTW the web.gif  icon displays in the new Activity Chooser!) with those specific file name endings and still the Page icon displays.

Thank you!

I've noticed this in 2.3 as well. URL resources just use the same icon as page resources now. sad
