Using Moodle 2.0+ as a Knowledge Center

Using Moodle 2.0+ as a Knowledge Center

I'm working on a project to use a Moodle-based LMS into a "knowledge center" of sorts, containing many files and information within my company.  I want every piece of content to be easily searchable and easy to find by anyone, possibly using tags for content.  Is this possible within Moodle 2.0?  What would be your best advice?

Hi Dan

One of the strengths of moodle is the capacity to allow collaboration and interaction. If you mainly want a repository, maybe you should choose a program more suited to that. This article makes a useful comparison: http://www.duraspace.org/what-difference-between-repository-and-cms-content-management-system
