in which roles may be "passed" from one moodle instance to another, is there a way of avoiding this? (using moodle 1.9.19)
ie: I need that no roles are created in the backup file.
Problem description: We set up a new moodle instance each year, and teachers have a possibility of using a "copy tool" which we developed so that backups and restores are done automatically. The problem arises since when a backup file is created, roles are being backed up as well, and when the backup file is restored a new role within the new moodle is create. So we are ending up with "rolesname_copy","rolesname_copy2" etc.. The process is automatic, ie script logs in as admin user and performs backups and restores on user's behalf.
