Why can't I keep full screen display for themes?

Why can't I keep full screen display for themes?

Hello

On fresh install all the themes display full screen, however any modifications reduce the theme to around half screen width - why is this happening?

Is there anything I can do? I've tried replacing the theme folder, but only a fresh install of Moodle solves the problem

I'm using standard theme on the latest Moodle 2.3

thanks

What do you mean by ...

"...any modifications reduce the theme to around half screen width..."

At a guess it sounds like you are trying to change the page layout of the Standard theme, which can have dramatic results if you get it wrong.

Hi Mary

Thanks for replying.

In fact the problem turned out to be a module 'Technical Project' which breaks the theme when installed.

Uninstalling and purging the cache solves the problem.

Shame because it seemed to be an interesting activity module

There are alot of plugins that do that. It's usually casued my a confict, or a bug in the plugin.

You should report it in Moodle Tracker and get it fixed.
