Is this "Automatic updates deployment" feature actually meant to be working in Moodle 2.4? I am currently conducting tests and have come upon a problem with updating the hotpotatoes mod, described in this discussion.

I'm lost - where is the post you say gives more detail in the other thread that Joseph mentioned? When I click on Joseph's link above I get "coding error " in red etc.
