Sorry all, but is there a way with moodle 2.3 to use the folder resource and group URL links? So far, I can't find a way to do this, and am hoping you can offer me the correct steps to create this function!

No - but why not use a "page" and paste in the links there? (If you'd like some more ideas, then feel free to post on the Using Moodle forums where you can technical help) This is the social forum but we are always please to offer support.
