As you may know, Moodle can be used in a number of different languages, all written by volunteer translators (my thanks to them!)
If you use Moodle in a real teaching situation, and would like to help the project, perhaps you might consider working on a new or existing translation. The language forums are the best place to start - just introduce yourself.
The job of editing languages is made fairly easy using Moodle's web-based admin interface - it provides tools for comparing and changing the many phrases and words (currently 733 of them!). If you are able to use CVS (or willing to learn) I can give you write access to the Moodle source repository so that you can easily make your translations available to others.
