I'm looking for a way to upgrade Moodle 2.2 performance.
In order to do so, I was thinking about deinstallation every activity and resource available on the platform.
Would it help me to achieve my goal?
What do You think?

Hi Marek,
I'm not sure what Moodle will be good for if you uninstall all of its modules. I don't think it would make much of a difference as activities only take up memory if they are actually being used.
In my experience the easiest way to give Moodle a performance boost is install APC, disable Apache modules not used, and fine tune Apache & MySQL config files and get more RAM. If you cannot afford RAM, then I would definitely look into Apache and MySQL config files. Check the performance recommendations page - it's full of really useful information. Also make sure 'Theme designer mode' is not enabled, and keep the standard theme. Cache all language files.
Cheers,
Fred
