I work at the Open University using Moodle 1.9, as part of the automation testing & QA team. While running a set of automated functional tests in a loop (using Test Complete), I run into a very strange phenomenon: A new added resource is shown twice on course site, but is saved once on the DB. When trying to delete the 2nd resource - there is a system error that the object you're trying to delete – simply doesn't exist.
I must note, that this happens only after a while. The first loops of tests run beautifully and with no problems. Then something goes wrong and the same tests fail due to this problem of resource's double display. Once the problem happens, then the double display is shown also after adding a new resource manually (not by a script).
My question is: Has anyone run into a similar problem?
If yes, any ideas what triggered the problem?
