help needed- participant stats

Hi There,

I am uploading an e-learning program to moodle which will be accessed by potentially thousands of people. This means I can not issue invididual user names and passwords to track the amount of participants logging into the program and will have to generate potentially 5-6 different user names and passwords for each of the services accessing the site. My question is- is there a way to track how many hits people are making on the e-learning program?

and if so where can I find it? Thanks very much Moodle geniuses! smile

Ok firstly this is how I do it on Moodle 1.9+?... yes I know I need to upgrade

On the front page of your moodle -> Admin Block -> Reports ->Statistics then chose your course form the drop down menu. Have a play with the report type and time span until you get teh sort of data you are looking for, I tend to use a maximum of 6 months data and after that for some reason on my Moodle it starts to look a bit Blurgmixed

Hope this helps
