New Users Self Enroll - Moodle 2.3.1 - Problems

Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way for students to come in and enroll themselves without me first enrolling them under Site Admin > Users > Add a New User ?

It seems I must first add them there and then they would login and actually enroll themselves into ther class.

Is there a way to put a "New Users" section on my front page?

Thanks!

Hi there - yes you can enable email-based self registration whereby they make an account on your site and then you can set your courses to self enrolment so they can enrol themselves. There are security issues with this, which is why it is not available by default. Take a look at http://docs.moodle.org/en/Email-based_self-registration
