I set an event to repeat, is there a way to globally delete those events? I would like to delete all of them or update all of them at once.

Unfortunately, there isn't. Creating repeat events is a convenience that was included because it was very easy to do, but managing (deleting/moving) many events at the same time is not supported yet.
Welp, now I know...I'll just create a shorter set of events...
