Hot pot quizzes don't reflect changes

Hot pot quizzes don't reflect changes

Hi Gordon

A problem I have noticed a while ago, and I thought I would pass it by you to see if there was a solution. Sometimes after I upload a hot pot quiz to moodle I discover there is a mistake in a quiz. So I go back to my hot quiz on my computer and fix the mistakes, delete the offending quiz in the moodle files, and upload the fixed quiz, retaining the same name. When I create a new hotpot quiz, using the same name as the old quiz, I notice that moodle still displays the old quiz that has errors in it. If, however, I change the name of the fixed quiz, then moodle will then display the quiz reflecting the changes I have made.  Is there a way to keep the same quiz name and at the same time display it with the changes I have made?

Cheers

Robert

Hi Robert,

What you see is the cached page.

Open the corrected exercise and press Shift+F5 to reload the page by requesting a fresh copy from the server. That should work.

Cheers
