I tried to upgrade from version 1.9 to moodle moodle 2.2.4. but I have a series of problems in the Plugins page check

From page three plugins are not installed:
Hotpot, journal and LAMS

I tried installing hotpot under the directory question / format / or under the mod directory but it keeps giving me error

while LAMS is not a plugin and I do not know how to install it
I found on the following sentence Moodle LAMS Learning Design is a graphical editor.
It is on the Moodle Roadmap for implementation.

What should I do??

Thanks in advance

Hi Cesare,

When doing the upgrade, you should have renamed the original moodle folder (e.g. moodle_old), unpacked the new code and started the installation. Once finished, you can install the new plugins.

Hotpot should be installed under the mod folder.

http://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=mod_hotpot
http://docs.moodle.org/19/en/HotPot_module_for_Moodle_2.0

The Journal plugin:

Lams (Learning Activity Managment System) is a course format, and it has been removed from M 2.x.

Dear Guillermo,

Thanks for your support,

As you can see at  http://www.elearningmaramici.it/moodle/ the upgrade is running also I had'nt change the name of directory,

I copied the journal and hotpot plugins into the Mod directory

You are authorized to continue the process and see what is exactly the problem

I think the problem is in the plugins.

Let me know what you think and what I must do

Dear Howard,

Followin your suggestions I restarted the process:

I create  a new directory called moodle2,

I installed the moodle version 2.2.4 in this new directory, I added the folder moodledata,

I changed the config.sys addressing the old database with users and other,

I added the new plugins requested

but as you can see the result is exactly the same:

see: www.elearningmaramici.it/moodle2/

What do you suggest??'

Thank you in advance
