I'm tempted to try and use moodle with Percona Server with XtraDB.

Anyone else has success or failure in using Percona instead of the other stock db's?

thanks

This appears to be just a re-branding of MySQL, based on a 5-second glance at their web site. So, it might work. If you want to try it, please do, and let us know how you get on. I can't really see what the point is however. If you want a better databse, use Postgres wink

I tried it a while ago and it just worked, however that was a development machine and I wasn't testing very extensively smile
