It is interesting that the reverse connection between the philosophy of the least Open Source provider (the "Black" provider that would like to close all sources of elearning but their own) and a non-social-constructivism pedagogy as pointed out by these interesting posts by

By the way, as well as mixed using mode, behaviourio-constructivism pedagogy I cannot deny some sympathy for software patents (but not the recent one in question).  Possible conclusion: people who are into patents are out of date authoritarian loosers that make bad online courseware? I like to think that there is a middle Moodle path.
