It would be awesome if you could help me solve a couple of issues I'm facing getting Moodle ready for organisational deployment.
Background: We are a large organisation with about 2000 employees. All the employees have a "Manager". So roughly 400 managers for 2000 employees. We run training courses on a weekly basis and we want to use Moodle to create an interactive atmosphere and also notify the employees of latest available courses and send them notifications for new courses.
Anyways, the challenge we are facing is such:
- Each employee needs a manager assigned in Moodle, who has power to enrol them to any particular course.
- Each employee can self-enroll in a course, but the manager needs to get notification that the employee has enrolled in the course.
Managers are not teachers or admins, they have just to be kept informed about their employees trainings.
Any help in getting this functionality would be highly appreciated and thanks a lot in advance or your time.
