Moodle and Udutu

Hi,

I am importing udutu scorm packages into moodle but it seems that moodle is unable to pull the grading from the package. Is there a pluggin required for this to work or is it no longer possible for them to work correctly together?

I am using the most recent version of Moodle.

Thanks.

Hi James - I am just moving your query to the SCORM forum as you might get more specialised help there.I presume these are SCORM 1.2 packages?

Hi Mary,

Yes they are SCORM 1.2 packages. They import fine but dont connect with the grading and reporting.

Thanks for moving the query.

We have used Udutu packages with Moodle 2.1+ successfully.  Did you set the questions in Ududtu to be scored?  I think I remember they default to survey items.

All of the questions are set as scored(one attempt only)

I get the feeling that the module isn't submitting any results due to module not being able to go back to the available courses/activities, as when I use the Quit button in the Udutu module it closes the web browser.

On our Udutu packages, we see an "Exit" button.  Clicking that in a popup closes the window, but the Moodle window stays open.  If we have the package display in the same window as the Moodle course, the "Exit" button does nothing.  Clicking the Moodle "Exit activity" link takes the user back to the course page.  Are you packages in a pop-up?

Also, you can remove the exit button from an Udutu package by editing the theme you use.  You will find this in under the administration tab in Udutu.  If you remove the button, and force the user to click the "Exit activity" link in Moodle, it may trigger the score to push across.
