I have what I thought to be a very simple administration need, but I am having difficulty finding a solution.
I am the administrator of my (currently) Moodle 2.2+ site. In my courses, I have assignments that students upload. This happens in many courses.
As administrator, how do I conveniently manage these files? For example, when a course is over, I might want to administratively delete these course files so that my moodle database size is smaller (I would probably download assignments as a zip file first, for backup purposes before deleting them from Moodle).
I cannot find where the administrator does this. Do I need to turn on a block tool for this purpose? If so, which one? There must be some tool available for administrators to manage files by course, by user, maybe by category, or by site. Right?
