Howto get courses and resources like quizzes organized the 2.x way?

Hi,

Ik moved from 1.9 to version 2.3 and want to make use of this opportunity to reorganize a few things.

I see my courses as ... courses and questions or groups of questions (i.e. tests) as resources. A set or sub-set of these resources are to be used in the courses. Actually it looks like a matrix.

  resources i.e. questionbank(s)
course 1 x - - x
course 2 - - x x
course 3 - - - x
course n+1 x x - -

But if I check the way the question bank is organized? It looks like its still a hierarchical system to me?

Is it possible to get things organized in the 'matrix' way?

If so how?

If not, what's the 2.x way to organize things?

Nevertheless I found a way to handle this.

In Settings, Question bank, categories its possible to use a category with a wider view/scope/visibility?

It's still the old 1.x solution and not (yet) something I would expect from moodle 2.x using the idea of 'resources'.

But for the time being. It's acceptable.

Although I would like an other solutionsmile
