XAMPP Windows Moodle V2.2 installation - Autostart

Hi all,

I've been searching for almost a month for a portable Moodle installation. Finally, and to my relief, I stumbled upon the XAMPP Windows packages.

It's great when something just works without any hitches!

I've now managed to move my final install from the root of my boot drive to external hard drives and USB keys and successfully tested on different PCs. Fantastic! The launcher even notices a drive letter change and asks if you want to refresh drive mappings.

What I'd like to do is to make an automated launcher so as soon as the USB storage device is plugged in, it reconfigures/refreshes drive letter mappings without user intervention and launch Apache/php/MySQL and starts Moodle in the default browser.

In essence, to build a "foolproof" package that just runs upon plugging in the USB key and launches the default browser, or at least the user just runs one file and continues as described above. What would I need to have and do for this scenario?

TIA.
