We're currently have multiple Moodle 1.9 environments that use the aMember plugin to control memberships, resource access, and product groups.
We use aMember simply because it allows us to release the course content manually, based on a weekly schedule. (So we release a lesson every monday and thursday, by going into amember and releasing the lessons)
We release lessons weekly because we offer a monthly subscription payment plan, and we have to have the content release over time, otherwise anyone could complete all the lessons quickly and only pay one monthly fee. Our courses release over 4 months, so it takes 4 months to go through all the lessons.
Is there an alternative to aMember that will allow us to release lesson resources over time (not by completion of a lesson), and manage memberships/product groups?
We're happy with them currently, but want to investigate the possibility of having lessons release automatically based on a time schedule.
