How can I generate a list of user names and email addresses

I would like to generate a table or CSV file for all users of a site including their FIRST NAME, LAST NAME and EMAIL address. (I am using Moodle 1.9.6

Is the Configurable Reports Block the easiest way of doing this? Is this block the best way of generating SQL reports?

Hi Peter,

In Moodle 1.9, log on as Admin and go to: Site Administration > Users > Accounts > Bulk user actions > Show advanced > Course role

Enter the short name of the course

Click on Add Filter

Then Add all

With selected users, choose: Download

Go

Choose your format

Continue

And you'll be able to save the list of participants in the course as, for example, an Excel file which you can then edit as you wish.
