Background:
I have a live moodle instance and a local instance (on WAMP for development purposes). When I tried to restore a course from the LIVE instance to the LOCAL isntance, the restoration process looks good until it gets to "schema" the activites are no longer listed, just the topic number is shown. After the restoration is complete, the activities are NOT included int the course structure.
I know the backup file is not corrupt because I can easily restore a course from the LIVE instance back in the LIVE instance.
Both instances are the same version.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? any help is much appreciated!

P.S: I also copied the entire LIVE site and created the local site. The courses were there, but only one course has the activities within it, the other two have blank topics.
