Unsupported Role Assignments - Finding a Manager at a User Level

Unsupported Role Assignments - Finding a Manager at a User Level

When I look at the Unsupported role assignments in our 2.2.3 Moodle I can see that I have a Manager who has been given that role at a user level. I would like to locate the user.

However, when I go to Users > Accounts > Browse list of users > Show advanced I can filter by Course role and System role but not User role. My question is: Is there a quick way of locating this person in Moodle?

Had the same issue, here's the trick, if you still need it:

- First, go to admin > users > Permissions > Define roles, and edit the MANAGER role to allow it to be assigned at the course level

- go back to the Users > Accounts > Browse list of users > Show advanced, now you should be able to filter the users using "course role > course creator". Identify them from there - finding the courses in which the role is assigned may be a bit more tricky if they are assigned the role in a lot of courses.

- Once you're done, go back to admin > users > Permissions > Define roles and edit the MANAGER role back to default (untick the box next to the "courses" context.
