I'm fairly new to Moodle, but I think I have a basic handle on it. I am computer-savvy, but I only know a little about html/php/etc. code.
I know how to use the conditional activity settings to create a "chain" ofactivities based on whether the student has finished the previous activity or not.
I'd like to do something similar, but with a slightly different condition to it. Basically, I need to limit the number of lesons/quizzes a student can take on a per week (or per 7 days/168 hours) per course basis. Thus, making it so that a student cannot take two lessons/quizzes in one course in one week.
The courses are not going to be date-sensitive, so the student can go at their own pace, to a certain extent. I'm working on getting Moodle set up for someone else, and they want to be able to allow only one lesson and quiz per week and no more. (i.e. a lesson/quiz every 7 days) So I would want to have a time frame of 7 days (or 168 hours) between the time one lesson is accessed and the next in any one course.
Here's what I have: Several lessons/quizzes in a course, each one is based on whether the student has completed the previous one. What I'd like to do is to make it so that "Lesson/Quiz B" doesn't become available until a certain number of days after "Lesson/Quiz A" has been accessed/completed, and "Lesson/Quiz C" cannot be accessed until X days after "Lesson/Quiz B" is accessed/completed.
I'm running 2.2 right now, is this doable? Or is it doable in 2.3?
